COA is always seeking committed volunteers to help us serve local seniors! We love our volunteers and our volunteers love their jobs! Consider delivering meals to local seniors while conducting wellbeing checks. Use your skills in one of our Senior Centers or Dining Sites by serving food, teaching a class, or entertaining our members. Help us with one of our events!
Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers Are Needed!
Volunteer Meals on Wheels drivers deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors across the county. With hundreds of meals to deliver and the need for home-delivered meals always in demand, our need for volunteers is great! We require that you have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and that you pass a background check paid for by COA. Delivering meals takes about 1 to 2 hours beginning at 10:30 am Monday through Friday. Choose one day or more! Schedules and routes are flexible and convenient.
COA also operates an Adopt-a-Route program. Businesses, clubs, churches, and other organizations are invited to participate by adopting a route and sharing the responsibility of meal delivery. This is a great opportunity for developing your corporate/civic team while receiving recognition.
